A raised garden bed in carbonised fir, standing on four legs so the soil sits well clear of the ground.
Sixty centimetres long and thirty-three tall — enough depth for herbs, salad greens, strawberries or a small crop of vegetables, rather than the token amount a shallow trough holds. The timber is fir that has been through high-temperature carbonisation, a treatment that hardens the surface and helps it hold its shape through Australian summers.
The slat construction and raised legs keep the base up off wet paving. Wide enough to plant in rows; low enough to reach across without stepping into a bed.
Holds up to 30 kg of soil and planting. Arrives flat-packed with the tools and instructions needed to put it together.

This timber goes through high-temperature carbonisation, which hardens the surface before it ever sees weather, so it holds its shape and keeps its colour far longer.
